I'm just learning about varieties and found what appears to be a crack on a 1994 penny while searching for extra columns. What do yall think?

Thanks again, robbudo! I'm a total newbie to varieties and errors, so I have a couple questions.

Does the crack affect the value of this coin?

Is there a good online resource that discusses pricing errors and desirability?

After looking over ebay, it seems that die cracks really are not that hot.

Just found this on a 1964 dime.

Very common on coins that are struck with final stages of die wear. Did you note the die chip on the lower right of the torch and the die crack in that area?

Yeah, I noticed that but didn't know what was up. Die chip, cool.

That's is a pretty nice die crack! Unfortunately, these are quite common and worth very little premium (if any).

If you check a lot of zinc cent reverses, you will find a lot of these in short order. Most of the ones I find have cracks running from the corners of the memorial building. I do keep the better ones and would include yours in that group. Thanks for posting!
