I roll search from time to time. My main bank uses Brinks. Every once in awhile, I would like to get the FED boxes of uncirculated coins.
I see plenty of other people getting them, is there a certain Bank that gets boxes direct from the FED fairly often?

I see them at regions quite often but I believe that you have to have them ordered normally. Talk to your local bank teller and they should do it for face value.

I haven't heard of fed boxes. Are you wanting to get just new coins? I know you can buy bags or rolls staight from the mint.

I want to get them for face value. The mint charges too much of a premium for current issue coins. I've seen some people on here, and plenty on ebay with unopened bank boxes of coins still wrapped from the mint. These were gotten from a bank. Was just wondering what banks would be best for this. Huntington in my area deals with brinks, so they only have recycled coinage.

It really depends on whether your local Fed bank does their own rolling or if they contract it out to Brinks or other armored car service. Most if not all of them now contact it out so the chances of getting a "Fed" box is pretty close to zero. And really what does it matter if the Fed rolls the coins or if Brinks rolls the coins. They both handle th coins the same way. Ballistic Bag dumped into a hopper and the rolling machine counts, rolls, and boxes them.
