From the land of the Bluenose...place doesn't seem the same without the rock tumbler going! Marie has rolled the final roll and now all that remains is to count. Going through my posts to get other related totals and enjoying the perfect pair from both sides of the "Big Pond!" Best of the season to all youz and lasses!

It's pickled herring and a 6-pack of Guinness stout ....... great stuff after a long day of detecting.

Wish I were there to share them with you.

Or in even simpler terms.....Fish and Beer

The polish in me prefers the creamy hearing....but you can't improve on the Guinness

AHH! Guinness! My favourite! I lived in Manchester for a couple of years. Quite often in the pubs, I used to drink Black 'n Tans...... 50% Guinness, 50% bitter ale.

Northwest, I like the dogfish head ale myself! I like the pickled herring too, although grandad always broke out the pickled tongue (beef) and heart, cheese, and crackers. Loved it even as a kid, Yum yum!
