A face like that on a coin definitely does not look ancient. 20th century at best.
The horseman is firing an arrow behind him, in the style of the Parthians, Mongols and other anciet/mediaeval Central Asian tribes. The famous "Parthian Shot", a saying now devolved into "parting shot". So I don't think cassuey's first guess (the Mongol Ilkhanate) is too far wrong in that regard.
Sirlujo, can you tell us where/how you obtained it?

I'm no expert Sap, but, I was also inclined to say modern, possibly cast pot metal.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I found this coin in Hungary on an auction. Honestly I have a feeling that it was made by a fan of the Hun traditions in the 20th century, however it is a real archeological sensation if not modern. Don't know yet. The face is definitely mongoloid, but this perspective is strange.

The rider looks classic Khanate, but the face is way, way too Hollywood.
