it just hit $4.4375. Quickly approaching that 3 cents apiece for pre-82 copper cents.Canadian pre-78's are already there. Could hit $4.50 by the end of the day if the dollar trend down continues.

I was wondering why I got $195 for my ($100 FV) ebay auction on Wednesday...I have $200 FV more that I better get up

I have not sold any on ebay yet but come January 1,I may give it a shot. I have so much copper laying around I may have to convert some to silver. Maineman,what are you charging for shipping $100 face?

my only problem with selling copper pennies is that the cost of shipping from Alaska is an arm and a leg :(

a dollar in pre 82 pennies 2day is at $2.92 in melt value you guys should start using this website called (124) This link is not allowed by the Staff .com it has a coin calculator very convienient

interesting. I don't see it picking up just yet though simply because the penny is much less practical with the copper value we have presently. let it get around 8 or so a pound and it really might be worth selling.

hockinzig, you can ship up to 70 pounds for $9.95 in a flat rate box.
northwest....don't you have flat rate shipping up there ?

mvpvlad...I use a melt value site, however copper pennies aren't bringing melt at the moment.
oblaka....I have a room that's overflowing with pennies and I need to clean up....anyway, I'll take $75 profits any time...it's just a sideline from roll searching...now I can buy even more pennies

They have stolen almost every ground wire from the telephone poles up here where I live. I'm hoping the eletric company will start wiring them hot [}:0]

I had someone ebaYmail me to complain that I couldn't possibly ship a bag of wheats for $12.95. I replied, "yeah, I know, that's why I charge $20 for two bags".
