Okay well as I have had to make cut backs to survive. The better half provided me with a box of Lincolns. Using it as a stop smoking aid. :)

I was actually shocked with this box.

Found a 1929-D
1912
and a 1974 -D that looks like it just came out of a OBW

I was shocked to find a 1912 even though it's not in the best of shape.
I was pleased when I came across it.

4 Canadian cents
1 2 Pfenning
1 2000 DIme

So now that I have them all emptied into a container. I'm sorting the copper from the zinc. Looking for Wide AM's and anything out of the ordinary.

Yes every time I decide I want to have a smoke I grab a handfull and look through them or start re rolling :)

It can be great therapy for many ills. It has helped me through anxiety attacks when nothing else but sleep-inducing medication would. I love finding those little treasures also.

I'm actually surprised that people find enjoyment out of this. The only reason I say that is because I just did a box of nickels and found very little joy out of the time spent on it.

Probably just me, I'm glad it's working for you. I've been around people trying to quit and it's not easy. Anything that helps you get through it is awesome!
