I ran across a 2006 series $100 note yesterday with a serial higher than 96 million. This is actually the first note of ANY kind I have found with that high a number, so at first I thought I had something. But then I got to thinking...

Since the BEP doesn't print uncut sheets for C notes does that mean that the circulated range for serial numbers is higher than for other notes? I did a few Google searches, but was unable to find that information. So if anyone can help me figure this out I would be grateful.

I believe 100s and 50s are printed up to 97999998... not positive but recall reading something like that when I came across an older $1 note that had a serial starting with 98....

I believe the higher denom notes (50 and 100) are printed up to 99600000 or so, but definitely with two leading nines.. So I think yours is a normal note...
