Still crisp and centered evenly (the scan cut off a side). It also has a minor back-to-front ink transfer. I'm not one to collect higher denomination notes... but couldn't pass this one up! I love the 1950 (and earlier) series with the whole "will pay to bearer on demand" just adding a little pizazz to the note. I went into work one day and one had come in during the prior shift, but the kid thought it was fake and marked it up with a counterfeit pen about 5 times, haha. I still took it, and luckily it mostly faded away. pretty good condition otherwise! I know many people like the new style currency but I'm a fan of small portraits! Report this Post to the Staff

iamkayelem Valued Member United States 176 Posts	Posted 01/03/2011 11:39 pm hahahaha, probably exactly what happened. a few days later, I came in after him again and he said "hey I got another one of those really old twenties, it's in the drawer!" it was a 1995 series. haha. must have never seen a small portrait besides a $1 before. guess that happens with 17 year old cashiers.
