Think I finally found a legit double die! I'm half way through my '64 bank rolls, and the roll that this penny was in is half full of what seem to be machine doubles that are very similar. The machine doubles all look like each other, with doubling at the same exact spots. I must have 30 of them. I can actually see the same 4-5 dies being used between my rolls, so I hope this is a legit DDR and there are more!

I'm posting thumbnails to my pictures this time. The two reverse pics are big. They should speak for themselves, I can see strong doubling on all text. If this is a DDR, can someone help me figure out which?

Thanks!

Not a pro here but my rule of thumb is if the memorial has some doubling "which I see on the right side " its MD but like I said I am no pro at this and I could be wrong

Sorry, but it looks like classic Machine Doubling to me, too.

Don't give up! We all struggle to learn the difference to begin with.

I still struggle with some forms of doubling. Once you get the Machine Doubling down, you get tripped up on others, but don't ever give up.

Look for splitting on the serifs. Like on the ends of the S's
Looks like a hair split end.

Thanks for the help! I understand that what I have above is a MD, but I have a few more doubles that I'm not so sure about. I am on boat here with you guys, but I have noticed a couple more things:

1. I read on another forum, which I cant seem to dig up the post, that the FS guide shows the wrong picture for FS-01-1964-803. They said it actually shows the picture for 801.

2. I can't find any pictures for the 803.

3. The S here in this picture posted by coop does not show the strong doubling on the S serif as seen in the guide and noted by Indian1.

coop, is yours the 802? Your CENT pics match what I see as 802.

DR: Most of the ones posted don't have a matched number yet on coppercoins. The one pictured below my image is a known example. My examples haven't been yet. (These years are not complete yet on coppercoins.) The FS varieties I know nothing about. Just not into another number system that there are may others out there.

So I'm kind of confused after looking at Copper's site. I've been using the Cherrypicker's guide... which I assumed had virtually all known varieties. But after looking at Coppercoin's site, I see that he has listed 10 varieties for the 1964 obverse whereas the Cherrypicker's guide doesn't have anything for the obverse.

I'm assuming that the guide was made by chopping the varieties down to the most desirable? After finding Coppercoin's site, I feel like I have to look through my rolls again.
