After reading swamperbob and others in the forums I realised that there was no chance of me collecting Mexican silver, but the copper looked interesting.

It's not too common in the UK, but here's my first.

There are still still some inexpensive silver coins out there. It's not as expensive as collecting U.S. coins. You might even enjoy collecting a nice Mexican Republic type set. I'd advise getting the North American Coins and Prices to start off.
