I love the remnants of mint lustre on this one. Grade and value please.

Images are poor because I'm still using the rubbish scanner I promised to replace last year.

Are you sure this is mint lustre? I've handled about 200 cleaned victoria pennies, they look similar to that one. To my eye, it is more likely an uncirculated penny that has been dipped a long time ago. The surfaces aren't just right.
But assuming I am wrong, and it's an UNC penny with traces of lustre, it should stand around 6-8 pounds on ebay. 1900 and 1901 are relatively common years for high grade victorian pennies.

It's actually an artefact of the terrible scanner I'm using. Photos will soon be forthcoming, (when I've mastered the camera!)

For an uncirculated penny the edges look too beat up! The treads on that tire look all worn out. (And I'm not talking about the "wheelchair" tire.)
