Is this coin worth keeping as an investment i.e. value appreciates as time goes by? I mean how rare is it?

It's a circulating coin from Liechtenstein, a country which did not make very many circulating coins. The mintage on this one is a tiny 10,000 and who knows how many might have been lost or destroyed in the World War years (though not in Liechtenstein itself, which was neutral in both). As such, it will always be popular with collectors that want to try to get one circulation-type coin from every country that issued circulation coins.

And for a coin to maintain its value as an investment, it has to be popular with collectors. While nobody can predict a skyrocketing value, it should not see a collapse down to bullion value.

Thanks very much for the information both Nikola & Sap.
It's comforting to hear from Sap that "it probably won't collapse down to bullion value". And yes Nikola, I think I will keep it.
Thanks.
