1st one is supposed to be a "Fat Man Dollar", Chinese Republic, year 3 (1914), one of the most counterfeited coins in the world.
2nd looks like Canadian 10 cents with George V.
The sizes of the two coins are supposed to be drastically different, it doesn't look so on your picture. Are they both small?

OK, then I'd say Can. 10 cents is real, and it is silver. The purity, though, depends on the year: 1912-19 they were sterling (92.5%) with .0691 ASW, and 1920-36 80% with .06 oz. ASW.
The "Chinese" is a "mini", a play money, most likely a base metal.

Right you are, DCH, I was sloppy! Then it is 70% silver with .0607 oz. ASW.

do you guys have a link where I can view the silver weights for these coins? I want to bookmark it so if I'm ever to buy anymore coins I have a reference.

Andrew, I'm not familiar with a comprehensive coin value site other than numismaster, but you'd need a (paid) membership to utilize their services. Most people on this forum, the World part of it at least, use the Krause catalogs of world coins, which are printed by centuries. If you're interested in one you probably could pick it up on Amazon or such, a couple years old would be cheaper. Prices may not be current (not all of them that accurate to begin with), but the composition figures will be the same!
