Found this one last week. Not sure what is going on with it.It weighs 3.1g. The Obverse has a line going all the way around it but the Reverse doesn't. The edge is very odd. I'm thinking it was once in a piece of jewelry or maybe a medal or something? All input welcome. Thanks all,John1

A 1970 cent in a piece of jewelry is unlikely,,,but atleast you dont call it a reeded edge,,although it has a that look,,,cant wait to see some comments,,thanks

Color looks odd also for a U.S. copper.
Maybe an already upset foreign planchet
that was then struck with LMC dies.
Obverse shows collar difference.

I'm going with struck into an encasement at one time, then removed. One of those 'lucky penny' things.
