Am I correct in thinking that there are 12 varieties of the 1971 LMC?

1. RDV-002 with ODV-027 (1971)
2. RDV-002 with ODV-028 (1971)
3. RDV-008 with ODV-027 (1971)
4. RDV-008 with ODV-028 (1971)
5. RDV-002 with ODV-027 (1971-D)
6. RDV-002 with ODV-028 (1971-D)
7. RDV-008 with ODV-027 (1971-D)
8. RDV-008 with ODV-028 (1971-D)
9. RDV-002 with ODV-027 (1971-S)
10. RDV-002 with ODV-028 (1971-S)
11. RDV-008 with ODV-027 (1971-S)
12. RDV-008 with ODV-028 (1971-S)

Or did I mess something up there? Also is ODV-028 based off ODV-027?
In other words does the re-engraved bow tie also carry the strengthened throat?

Thanks.

I believe your list is correct, but as far as I know, the only varieties that would command a premium would be 1971-S with ODV-028.
I believe the variety with RDV-008 being scarcer than RDV-002.

I haven't heard or read of too many people trying to locate all varieties, but I'm sure some do. I might look for them someday, but I have about 2000 other varieties that have priority right now.

Can't tell you, I would assume ODV-028 would build off ODV-027, but Chuck or Coop could answer this best.

Thanks guys.

Scooby: Ya I am looking to ID them all, I am nerdy like that. LOL. I got about 150 varieties on my hit list give or take a few mystery ones that may or may not exist.
