OK, my first introduction to the Morgan silver dollar was about a year & a half to 2 yrs. ago. It was at the time a bittersweet memory as my Brother & I were dividing my Fathers Possessions when we ran across 2 1896 w/pantina Morgan silver dollars in a sock in a drawer. Over a period of a couple of days of looking at this coin bittersweet turned to OBSSESION in memory of my Father, I was hooked, now I'm hungry for knowledge.

You're only "dumb" because you haven't learned yet. Everybody you're talking to here had to learn the same stuff; we just have a head start on you. If you wish to email pics, send them to me. The address is my username AT coincommunity.com. I'm one of the photography nuts on the forum, and I'll be happy to help you figure out that end of things. As has been said before, though, I urge you to learn a little more about the coins, and grading, before going nuts buying them. From what you've said, you're not spending big dollars with your acquisitions, so you haven't gotten badly beaten even if a couple of the coins aren't worthy. It'll only take a week or two to get you up to speed.
