Poll Question
Witch month do you think the u.s. mint will release the numismatic collector version of the A T B 5oz bullion coins with the mintage of (27000) ?

America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coins for Collectors The collector ("numismatic") version of the bullion coin is produced with an uncirculated (brilliant) finish. It has the "P" mint mark for the United States Mint at Philadelphia, PA. The coin is encapsulated in plastic, accompanied by a presentation case and Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Director of the United States Mint, and is produced in limited quantities

These will sell out fast I just hope the mint's web site doesn't crash this time

Can't wait to see these coins...thought I read that there is much more detail to these than the small regular quarters...

I'm not getting any of them. Too many commemoratives for me. The State Quarters was a good idea, but the parks, not so. What's next? Lighthouses?

The Mint said 1st quarter of 2011 and my guess is late February. I'm being optimistic.

They are listed on the mint site individually.

the reason you are just seeing the sets right now in bubble wrap, and not COA or signed certificate is because these are not the collectors sets from the mint these are just put together sets from the primary distributors. And there are no capsules because these are just bullion pieces. They arrived at the distributors in tubes just like the bullion ASE's do. They took one of each design from the tubes, wrapped them in bubble wrap, and sold them as a set for 10% over melt. For this you want "support"?

Yes ! the ap's should have represented the mints products better with nice packaging for the collectors because the ap's do make a living off the mint.mtb had the best packaging & handling from what I have read around the graded coins have the right idea but the wrong coin this sure was fun.
