I have a gold coin marked 1989 on one side with a buffalo, south dakota, 1/2 oz .999 fine gold. The other side has the state seal of south dakota. Wondering who made it? I like it cause it is real gold which is cool and I like the buffalo picture. But never seen one before.

Wasted alot of time but found out that this is minted from gold that came 100% from south dakota mines. How many that were produced I still don't know. Still cool to have a coin minted from 100% gold from america. If any one knows anything else please let me know.
