I don't know anything about Trade dollars or their patterns, but due to the extreme rarity of this coin and his feedback, I would stay away unless you are confident enough in your skills to ensure it is the real deal. I see that he does offer a money back guarantee, so you could potentially bid and examine the coin yourself, I guess that's up to you.
