When I seen this Mexican 5 Pesos coin I had to get this particular one for my type set.

I have the same last name of the guy depicted on the coin. You don't see that everyday so I had to get me one.

This is a large group, but fantastic. They issued a lot of different designs in such a short period, making a few hard to come by.

There are 1-2 that don't look like the rest. Zapata's coin has him riding a horse - no bust. Another guy looks like a mad scientist with his thick glasses.

fcrazo: do you know where I could get mintage figures for this series?

Nice modern! Is that the light, or is something happening in the lettering "...ARIO DE LA REVO..."

DVCollector I will check the coin again but I think its just the lighting. When I looked at the first coin, I got three of them in. I about had a heart attack when I looked at the 2010 date, at the zeroes in the date. Then I looked at the 2 other ones and figured that's how it was designed lol.
