Absolutely Nothing.

Not a good advertisement for the ANA.

I find the word TRUSTED to be the keyword here scuby..... I always place immediate and limitless trust in anyone who can be a member of an organization simply by paying a fee.

I have a feeling that they are probably not even ANA members and are just scamming the graphic. The ANA has very specific rules over the usage of their logo and this seller has not followed them at all and it isn't even the right logo which you can only download from the members-only section of their website.

Quote:
ANA Member Logos
Members of the ANA are welcome to use their ANA member logo for business correspondence and business cards, promotions, advertising, presentations and websites.

The logo should always print or appear in black or gold and the member's full name and membership number must be included next to or directly under the logo.

What-Does-

I am an ANA member and I use the logo in all my ebay auctions. I feel that it gives me a better position as a seller because the ANA is the top numismatic organization and all members have to follow the Member Code of Ethics and the Dealer Code of Ethics when selling(I also mention that in my auctions). The way I see it, this seller has broken at least half of the ethics rules. I will be reporting this seller to the ANA

Exactly. In my experience when someone has to tell you that they are trusted by some authority, they are usually not.

I was going to ask if that was the official Seal of the ANA he displayed in the ad. Biochemist 6 presented the only authorized logo that is accepted for display by the ANA. And yes, I am also a life member. (I came back after the internal problems were remedied.)

I know that a lot of folks are still wary of the ANA after the Chipoletti incident, but The ANA still provides more services and educational opportunities than any other organization. If all goes well, I plan on attending the Summer Session this year.

It's a heavily cleaned, circulated coin being represented as Mint State by a very unscrupulous seller.
