This is a penny I found. It has a very strange color. There are no grooves or strange texture on the penny. It is MUCH different than all the others I have in color. It is in very good condition. Take a look at this picture and let me know what you think. Thank you!

Looks like what is called a "woody", for it's wood grain appearance. It is an improper mix of the alloys used to make the planchet.

Some people really like these!

Some are pretty, some are not. I think yours looks very nice!

Especially, if it is similar on the reverse. Sometimes you only find them like that on one side.

Im going to have it graded and possibly up for sale soon. However, this is my favorite so far.

There is no need to get it graded. It will cost you more to have it graded than the coin will bring you in return. Just put up clearer pictures in the grading forum and get a consensus and just sell it like it is, if you want to maximize your profits.
