My dad recently passed away and I inherited his coin collection. It has a few hundred Australian Pennies, Half pennies, old Aust. 1,2,5 and 10 dollar notes A bunch of commemerative 50c, 20c and 1 dollar coins, all of the silver kangaroos to date, all Australian proof sets since 1978, some New Zealand coins and all dominations from Indonesia, Phillipeans(spelling?) and Hong Kong as well as randoms from various islands. Now I want to "add my chapter" so to speak. I want to keep getting the silver kangaroos, the proof sets and any randoms I find. If you want to talk on msn, I will give those who add me/email me my address and would like to request you send me a few coins from your country, I have never seen a coin from another country of any kind so even a single 10c or any coin would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Jmcca127 and welcome to our CC family.

We have a rule that a member needs to have 50 posts to sell or trade. As a member, you can post in the Buy section, but our members have learned that it is better to wait until a member makes some quality posts so that they can get to know you.

We have a lot of Australian collectors here. Why don't you post about the coins you inherited? You can also post any questions that you may have or any information that you can share with our other members that could help them out.

I removed your email addresses from your post for security reasons. Spammers are constantly scanning forums and such for email addresses. Having it in your profile is enough. If our members want to email you, they will go to your profile and do it.

I look forward to seeing some posts from you and hope you will enjoy your time with us.

You are welcomed to the forum. I am also a newcomer here. I also would like to get new coins form different corners of the world. But rules are rules We need to have 50 posts. Hope the members will know me good enough to trust me. I am strolling now about the forum. Looking the interesting information for me and trying share the info about me. To be frank it''s better to have questions to reply.

Thank you for your understanding of the rules. There have been quite a few other forums that only require 10 posts or don't require any minimum at all and they have had members get burned (some quite badly) with trades and sales. We have not had any problems so far (knock on wood) and I think it is because so much active participation is rquired prior to selling/trading.

Welcome to both of you.

If you remain members, I would be happy to send you coins sometime in the future.

I agree about Bigfella. He is a fine person to do business with.
