I found 2 1965 "pointed" 5 varieties in the same 12 boxes of pennies
I found 2 1985 pointed 5 varieties....

how scarce are the 1965 varieties also.....?

Not sure on the mintage for the 65 pointed varieties. Now that you have the 1965 pointed variety...you need to see if it is a LB (large bead) or SB (small bead) variety. For the small bead variety...the last A in REGINA points between the denticles and the Large bead has the last A points to denticle. Rarity for the varieties is as follows: 1.1965 Variety 4 - (LB P5) 2.1965 Variety 1 (SB P5) 3.1965 Variety 2 - (SB B5) 4.1965 Variety 3 - (LB B5).

The 1985 Pointed is also a cool find. Not sure on mintage for it. Both are nice finds. I keep them.

I find that the '85 is harder to find in circulation. I think I have found two compared to maybe ten '65's.

The only one that has a little value is variety 4. The other three need to be in mint state to have any value.
