At a coin show last weekend I purchased this. The 1983 Lincoln Cent reverse side Double Die. Something I never noticed until today was that the entire reverse is doubled a real lot. From the Photo in the Red Book I thought only the ONE CENT was doubled. So I didn't think to much of it until today and looked close and noticed everything was doubled noticably. Odd that this one is not as popular as the 55. I wasn't really looking for that coin but for the price of $200 I thought it would look nice in one of my Albums. I've been thinking of making an entire Album of error coins for a long time but the problem would be almost any Album pages are for one denomination only. It would make for an interesting Album though.

Beautiful coin Carl. Is the obverse as strong as the reverse? Been roll searching for yrs and never come close to that one. I have though about putting together some sort of album with my Lincoln errors, just never find the time. Jim

Exactly what I'm planning on doing. Whitman makes blank Albums and pages. Also they have those press on letters/numbers so could make one but need time too. I'd like to make one of all types of coins but pages only come with one type of coin. Quote: Is the obverse as strong as the reverse? I think the obverse is even better.

Never thought of taking a photo of the Obverse. Good idea. Note that both the obverse and reverse photos were taken with the coin in a 2x2 so clarity could have been better.
