@ 2014CENT, nice one.. What year?

wish I were in your country... There is no coin shop here, and rarely I can find something online.

I never went to coin shops yet, almost everything I buy is online.. I met a nice fellow collector/seller online what is my main source at this moment..

I think you must collect all errors in general, not only doubled die? Especially when you search through bulk lots, there may be other types like off-center, die break,...

I keep indeed off-center coins, overstruck, overdates, die axis rotation (90 degrees and more) and clipped planchets.

Die chips and die breaks I don't keep 99,9% of the time..

€5/kg, maybe it's cheaper than price of the materials itself

The humidity where I living and the place where my collection is stored is ok.. I don't use 2x2 coin flips.. (i started collecting when the Euro coinage began, for example the coins are still as red as they are, without spots..)

Another reason is "space".. I put a serious amount more coins on 1 page then when using flips.. I use pvc free sheets.. Looks like this...

Here is a recent find by me, a Colombia 1965 centavo with strong doubled "9" in date.

Hi Sjaak..

The coins from Colombia I would call repunched dates..

The Swedish coin is a doubled die..
I think I can see also a bit of doubling above the date..
Can you post a picture of the whole coin?

I love those Colombian centavo repunched dates! Some are very dramatic. I have a nice one also.

Nice one Steve..

Here in the Netherlands there are a very few collectors of Doubled dies.. So there is almost no added value with a 'normal' coin from that year..

A nice doubling on obverse of this 50 Euro cent coin. Netherlands, 1999. Found in circulation a few weeks ago.

@Dagaz..

I think it's not a doubled die, the coin is struck with a die ready for retirement.. I see no notching..

Here my latest:
Colombia 2 Centavos 1959
