Well, it doesn't mean anything to me!
Fengtien is a province. It issued a very similar coin, Y# 10e, it has a MM smack in the center of the obverse attributing it to the province.

Fengtien was a province until it broke down into three different provinces. (I might be completely wrong on that done)
On the other hand, I am not too sure if it's Fengtien because I thought the province "initials" would be in the center of the coin.

I bet you could find slabbed M&M's in MS condition on ebay! They probably even have rare varieties and errors.

I seen one that had a "W" on it once.

was that a doubled die W or just a regular die?

Got the tripled die (or as some call it a tripled doubled die) from quiquelo today! It's sweet! He also surprised me with some repunched dates that DVCollector was talking about earlier. Thank you brother! You rock! I wish I could capture how cool the berries triple and kind of just fade away - it's pretty cool!

Here's the repunched dates. I thought I had a better pic of the '71. There's also a '67, but it's hard to capture.

Great coins from Colombia! That tripled die is easy to see! Those RPDs are cool...they're so extreme.

Package is on the way to you quiquelo! Funny thing is, I was expecting to have a '72 DDO in the mail yesterday. I completely forgot you had coins on the way. So, it was a pleasant surprise! Hopefully I have the '72 today in the mail and can post tonight. Now I'm not sure if it's a DDO or a repunched date.

No question the '72 is a DDO! And it's a beauty! I don't want to take it out of the 2x2 just yet. He claims that this is a discovery piece that he sent to " a person named Lou Coles, who at the time was in Carson City, NV, and was then the keeper of the CONECA Double die register". Any way to verify this? If so, I'm wondering if I should keep it like it is. Or does it make a difference? Here's the 2x2 and writing: Now on to the coin!
