Hi Members, is ebay slow or is it just me. Any members know any secrets on listing coins on ebay. I mean someone told me if you word you title the right way, you can enter your item/coin in many catagorys without paying more. Also say I want to sell a gold coin give me some hints as to get the most hits on my auction. Ty COin HOg

What you can do is make sure that your item will come up in as many searches as possible. Use the title words to describe your item not for wasted words and always use as many of the 55 characters as you can.

Jayson, I guess I'll have to forgive you - only because the smiley face made me laugh!

Pictures, pictures and even better pictures. Oh, did I mention pictures?!

There is nothing I hate worse than seeing a coin I need and there isn't a picture. Worse than that is opening the auction and seeing the smallest and or fuzziest pictures in the world. I don't spend another second on it no matter how bad I need the coin or how good of a deal price wise it looks.

Did I say pictures yet?

Oh, and don't charge a ridiculous price for shipping. That turns me off right away. $15.95 shipping etc.

And I get turned off by a reserve. If the coin's worth $2,000, don't start it off at $.01 and set a reserve. Just start the auction higher. But not too high as to thwart off potential bidders.
