The first circulated proof I've found. Just look at how beat up it is! Too bad it's not silver.

Happening more and more lately. The poor eonomy makes for many more thefts in homes and coin stores. Also, lately in some areas roberies on the way home from a coin show. Another one is kids robbing their parents coin collections. Criminals don't know the value of coins and could care less. They usually dump them into coin counting machines or vending machines.

good question--I don't know how low proof designations go. PF-50?
It only cost me a quarter; I would be willing to do a trade--I mostly collect world coins.

No rush on the trade...I'll hold onto it for now
Per the rules, it looks like 250 posts are required.

I thought it is 250 post to sell or post a trade.

But on the heading of the buy/sell/trade links ..
It leads me to believe you can you can trade on a post or
buy a posted item .. after 50 post and 14 days.

I could be wrong .. but that is how I am reading that

You must have at least 250 quality* posts and have been a member for at least 90 days to post anything for sale or trade. This applies to any forum at all, not just the Buy/Sell/Trade forums.
Clear enough for me. I'll just keep hold of it.

As far as I know, in theory, the proof scale can go all the way down to PF-1.

Correct! just grade the coin and stick a PR in front of the given numerical grade. Instead of being a VF35 it could be a PR35..
