I am going to say MS 61, just because of the marks on her neck and throat area.

I appreciate your comments...When I first got the coin and did a little research online, I was thinking that it would fall under AU. I am very pleased that I joined this community. I am getting more helpful tips and comments in one post/visit, than I would get in countless hours spent browsing the web.

Considering O M/M weak strikes and contact marks in the face, neck, field & rim I would say MS63/64.

I can't quite justify 63/64 for this one due to somewhat flat obverse luster, large concentration of small abrasions on the cheek and fields (not much individually but in total they cover most of the surface), and some obverse strike weakness.

If the coin were similarly marked and had blazing luster, definitely a slam dunk 63 with 64 potential. As photographed, however, don't think I can really go higher than 61/62.

Looks MS-63 to me. Nice coin. A pretty decent strike for an O.

Very nice! The 1884O Morgans generally had real good luster but the strike wasn't very good. If your coins has good cartwheel/luster it's a MS63/64 the way I see it....
