Any Idea on grades of this one?
Crappy scan, so I'm still playing with settings.

I'd say VF-30. Worth melt unless that's one of the low mintage years.

Nothing special about it, I was just trying to get an idea of grade, as I have hundreds of these in close to same shape. Also, just wanted to make sure my scans were good enough. Thanks!
Mike.

Kempire, what scanner do you use. The pics look loads better than anything I get with my camera.

Haha... I dunno, some old Epson 3 in one I had in the basement because it ran out of ink, ink would cost me more than a new printer. All I did was put it in and press scan. There are a bunch of settings I can change like the dpi, but haven't played with it yet.

It is a 1949 D and I think it barely makes F-12. Might be worth a dollar or two more than bullion because of the date and mint.

Nice hunk of silver.
I personally love the Franklin set.
