so I was going through a box and my first roll I found this. I am not expert at varieties so I was wondering if this was a WAM? Also how much are these worth? pretty cheap?

The key diagnostic is the designer's initials.

Looks like a winner to me!

This looks like a WAM to me. If it's 1998, then I'd say it's worth about $10. Nice coin, btw.

The "FG" to the lower right of the Memorial Building. Looks nice and close...you got a nice winner. All of the 1998's that I've found have been around the block for awhile. Not one as good as that one. Keep searching...there's more out there.

yeah the back reverse is a little better than the obverse. The obverse looks darker on the flat areas and more shiny around words and lincoln. what caused it to look like this?

Nice find! It looks like that because it's been circulated...about AU-53.
