They keep changing the web page... now the reviews are gone. I wonder why?

That's odd. Maybe someone was in the middle of an update and decided to go on break instead If you look at the products pages http://www.mint.ca/store/buy/silver...ns-cat120006 you can see there were three ratings for this coin, but when you click on the coin to see the details you don't see any of the ratings. You can still see detailed rating for the other coins though.

I will have some of those $20.00 coins for sale towards the end of this month. If you are interested, contact me and I will add you to the list. Limit 1 per person. I will have 20 available for the first round. I have been pre-buying from people who each managed to get their 3 coins, so there will be a premium.

Hey Hawk...I've seen the mint do this to special coins before...the page opens up different than regular...I read the reviews last nite...all praise for such a great deal....and yes you are correct ...you don't see them now...the real reviews will come in once we get the coin in hand...

So, I posted a review questioning the legitimacy of the "Legal Tender" statement and asked for clarification... what does it really mean, since we can't redeem in financial institutions (according to one Mint rep).
The next thing I know, the reviews are GONE! Related incident?
Hummmmmm...

I tried to scale 27mm $20 and a 27.13mm 50 cents:

27mm is about the size of a loonie. Besides, it's a quarter ounce, so about half the height of a silver maple.

You are correct rodime, in terms of weight, it is 7g like the loonie. Diameter of a loonie is 26.5 mm (11-sided) whereas the 50 cents is 27.13 mm, closer to 27mm (round) $20 dollar.
I can't wait to have the coins in hand.
PS. The coin on the Mint web page looks like a piedfort. No way it is that thick.

This trend toward face value and free shipping offers is intriguing. Imagine if they did that next for a gold coin.

I think this also resurrected a 20-year old debate regarding the "Legal Tender" aspect of NCLT. I thought this was settled but apparently not.
