I am TEMPORARILY moving this topic to the main coin forum for more exposure to Arizona CC members. - Fred

I finally am seeing light at the end of the tunnel, so can march on with the previously discussed plans for an Arizona get-together for CC members (also WINS, but most of AZ WINS also belong to CC).

When and where do we want to get together for, say lunch? Since at least two live in Buckeye, I might suggest there as a centralized location; there's a couple in the greater Phoenix area (Mesa) and I'm out here in the desert.

I suggest plenty of lead time so our calendars can be cleared for whatever date we pick. I'm thinking mid-October, but am highly flexible with a couple dates already blocked in by the VA.

What say you Zonies? Also, if there's other CCs within travel distance (say, Albuquerque? Kingman?) or anyone else who happens to be in the neighborhood, we'd love to meet you also!

Fred

Bumping this back to the top.

So far, only two responses (dsking and tpatna), not including myself. The other part of the thread didn't move with the original post since I messed up, so their posts have disappeared .

Others in Arizona interested in a CC get-together? This would also include WINS members since there's some overlap. It's also looking more like November now since two of the three of us who have indicated interest now have tight schedules in October.

If you're a Zonie or from someplace else and want to drive awhile and want to get-together for an eyeball, let us know either on-forum or off. Thinking lunch in Buckeye, but we're all open to ideas (sri, but I don't do midnights ).

Deb, I'm also not an after-dark person, especially around the greater Phoenix area. No sun, no Fred.

You planning to be back in CO by November?

Fred
