I bought a storage locker yesterday and found a bag of coins, most of them are just real silver dollars from Canada but this one I can not identify. It says Britan nia on one side and the back side is hard to read. It appears to have the dat 1756, however I am not 100% certain as it is worn and hard to read. I know nothing about coins and I'm hoping you could give me some more information as to what it is and what it's worth. Thanks in advance!

Hi, cd-liq, and welcome to CCF!

It is a British coin featuring George II (1727 - 1760). Copper coins had Britannia design, during KG2 two denominations were minted, halfpenny and farthing. Judging by the size I'd say yours is a farthing - check the size, should be 22 - 23 mm diameter.
The last KG2 farthing (as well as halfp.) was minted 1754 so you reading of the date cannot be accurate.
In this condition it wouldn't be worth much, though you probably could get a couple of bucks out of it.

I researched the coin you have described and you are indeed correct. Thank you for the good, although slightly disappointing, information! :)
