I would call it MS63, maybe a 64 if the luster is a bit stronger in hand.

Thanks BK6, the luster is actually outstanding. Not sure how to photograph it though . . . . . beeing a noob and all . . . . . .

The mark running through the eagle is very bad and would unfortunately prevent it from grading any higher than 63, if it grades at all. Too bad, its a nice year/mint.

Well, of course I was hoping for a high grade, I am just trying to pick up the hobby since I dropped it about . . . . . . 35 years ago.
Wow, is this internet cool or what?
A guy down the hall has a scanner, we scanned the coin at 1200 dpi (?) and got this image before any editing.
Just got the obverse, took too long and didn't do the reverse. I bet the mark doesn't get any better anyhoo.

I don't like the scan . . . . . all of the details of the hair are washed out. This coin looks nicer than any of the pics, or scans . . . . . . . . I still need to learn some stuff.
