I've got a few 69D pennies...on one I noticed the mint mark is quite a bit lower below the date than on the others, and also very weak. I could get pics if necessary, but I think it would be somewhat difficult to capture really....Any info on this?

Normal.

Pre-1990, mintmarks were punched into the dies by hand. They vary considerably in location from coin to coin. Yours may have been punched weakly, or it just did not strike up fully, most likely.

But what you said seems to be common on the 69-D's, I see that a lot.

unless the mint mark is really far off, say touching the date really crooked or far off where it should be then they are only worth face.

I watched a " crazy mint mark " cent sell for 9$ on ebay the mint mark was under the one in date and even touchhing the number one a bit.
