I inherited my grandfathers coin collection which included several coins from all over dated in the 1800's to early 1900's. This one I have no idea. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks It is dime sized with maybe arabic characters on both sides. I uploarded two pictures and hope they turned out.
This is an Ottoman coin, minted in Egypt for Sultan Abdul Hamid II. Ascension year AH 1293, reignal year 26, which puts your coin in AD 1900. If it is slightly smaller than a dime it's 1/40 qirsh, if slightly bigger, then it's 1/20 qirsh.
