Cool, I always liked Franz Jozef's coins. 1896 commemorative is on my wish list.

Nice group of coins. Too bad they all have been harshly cleaned and polished.

I'll share my FJ1 coins, if I may. I go for different types.

Hungary (I guess I don't have a korona. Yet!)

I know, the title says REFORM COINAGE. But here's one more Franz Jozef I, on a pre-reform Hungarian forint

interesting portraits: love the ribbons in FJ's hair - looking classically Roman.
Whenever I look at anything Austrian from that era, I can't help but think of the novel "The Good Soldier Svejk".

Also, some of the coins are denominated "Korona", others "Cor" - was there a change in spelling ?

Gotta love that Svejk!

Hungarians spelled it Korona while Austrians - Corona.
