I received this amazing coin in a coin swap. I've admired the "owl" coins for quite awhile and was truly stunned when this came in the mail today.

Aeolis, Neonteichos. Circa 2nd Century BC. Æ. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing; NE monogram below.

It measures 12.3mm x 11.75mm. Weight is 1.31 grams.

It was a coin swap on another forum. We spent $20 each and sent each other what we could get for that amount. So I had no idea what I was going to receive.

Actually it was part of the swap for $20. The member I got it from paid $12 for it.
