The coin is graded by PCGS MS67FB, and is probably part of the Denver hoard found a few years ago. My photo doesn't show the true colors, as it actually looks better in hand.

If you go to Legend Numismatics you'll find one out of the same hoard in a higher grade.

That's a nice upgrade, beautiful coin I say.
I personally like subtle toning.

I forget to ask what's the population/number for this grade?

Pop MS67FB 400 with 103 better. The 1939-D is the coin with the highes number of MS68 coins. There is also a couople of MS69 for 1939-D.

Here is one that Legend had. Note the similarity of color. I wish I could get photos this good!

They are asking a bunch for their 68+FB. Here is a better image of mine.

I didn't want people to think this was spam, so I have removed the selling price from this thread. I'm thinking of sending it off for a regrade. It looks as good as the 68's, and may upgrade or get a +.

thanks, thecoinzar. One more attempt at a better image. The reverse starts to show some of the rainbow. You can see a hint of the blue under OF A (from OF AMERICA).
