How common are these in MS63 shape? Went through about 10,000 coins and pulled 4 that graded MS63 and 2 MS61 from ANACS. What is a fair estimate for values (retail and/or resale)? Is this a good recovery rate? Should I have been looking for other varieties as well? I got them when looking for silver and asking for halves at banks. Accumulated them over a couple years...sometimes banks had a few hundred Ikes at a time.

Here's the pop from PCGS. I know it's not the final authority on the 72 type 2, but it'll help.

I know it's hard to read, but the server will not let me use extra spaces.

Carm, you need to use the [code] function to make things space properly.

MS type twos are tough to find. I've found two, both were AU.

Yes, Merc Crazy is correct.

I started to correct it for you, but I am not sure if I got what lines up with what.

If I messed it up, you have 24 hours to edit it yourself, or let me know what needs to be shifted.

Thanks! Definitely looks like it was worth the hours spent searching through them to pull the type 2.

I have found a few type 2's and a local dealer gives me
$15.00 to $20.00 for Au's and 20 to 30 for unc/bu's
what the heck, not bad for spending $.50

Actually you did pretty well. The only error is the second dash (-) in the 1972 + line should be one column to the right under the 63 column. The 3000 was for the MS66 column.
