I have a chance to buy a lot of nearly 2000 Canada municipal trade tokens ( Trade dollars) from the 1960s to 1990s. About 50% are uncirculated and another 30% are AU. The remaining 20% are in various conditions/grades but mostly nice coins. They are from all regions of Canada. They have been stored in 2x2 flips for years. I have not been able to physically examine them because they are in another province, but I have seen dozens of photos and they do look really good. Can you give me an idea of what would be a very good price for this lot? I want them to re-sell individually and in small lots over the next couple years and would like to have my investment back by the time I sell 40% to 50% of them.

... I'd assume a $5/coin, since only about 2-5% of those will be scarce, and worth significantly more. Many others will be almost worthless, even in BU. Colonial acres does Trade dollar sales for 3 for $1 occasionally, and right now they've got four mississauga ones up for $3.

So, if you've got a coin store that you OWN/RUN/WORK AT/CAN LEAVE ON COMISSION, then great. Otherwise, even $5/coin might be a bit much.
