Tough one for me but you can't ignore the ribbon
not being worn into the hair. I'm surprised the diamonds don't show better.

The diamonds could be due to strike--look at the feather tips.
Without seeing the coin in-hand, I think it's in the VF range with the ding.

Initial impression was VF-20 but perhaps DVCollector is right and what I'm seeing as "wear" is actually a weak strike. Nice coin either way!

My initial reaction was XF-40 as the ribbon stands out nicely from the hair, but it's hard to see the diamonds. I do see something, so it may be the pic. There is also some wear/weakness on the feathers. CN cents are known for weak strikes so it may just be that, but without the coin in hand, I would give it a VF-30.
