Hi, foinikas, welcome to the forum! This is one yen dated Meiji year 36 (AD 1903) - both pics are pretty much upside down. It is supposed to be .900 (or 90%) silver, the fineness is stated right on the coin. Whether it's genuine it is hard to judge by small pictures. You can start with the weight, it should be 26.96 g (a little less with wear).
