I ordered some products from the US Mint and got what I ordered, but I'm wondering if all the orders placed are filled or is there a limit to the orders the mint fills. What I'm asking is,has anyone placed an order but not ever received the product?
I hope I'm making sense of my question. gasmnn96

Certain items the mint puts out have a limit of how many they can make. Also ASE's and AGE's could be held to limit if raw materails are not available

Normally the US Mint will announce item ordering limits adjacent to the product description on the specific page. I have missed out on several issues due to low mintage or specific order dates.

Not sure how the Mint determines that amount of what they make or will not make. So far I've never had anything I ordered not filled. It appears they make enough of anything of what they think they can sell. If not, someone just doesn't get that item.

There is a mintage limit for commemoratives and other one-off releases, it is typically written into the authorizing legislation. Mint and Proof Sets are usually minted to demand.
