Yep, I've been using it for a few years now. I don't know exactly when they first put it up but it was my first reference point before buying "Resplandores".
Very good references!

You can buy reprints and used editions of this book for as little as $15 and they are much easier to read

Quote: You can buy reprints and used editions of this book for as little as $15 and they are much easier to read Yeah, that would be something I'll have to look into. I do get tired of the endless scrolling to find a particular coin on the digital version, with all those blank pages you have to go through.

I just bought a copy of the Riddell Monograph online through Abe Books. There are both soft and hard cover versions available. They are printed on demand there. I have not received my copy yet so cannot attest to the print quality.
There were several book sellers in the used book world selling virtually the same thing. Mike

I own three different editions of the reprint of the Monograph and all are weaker than the originals. Two of the three are still in reprint and are digitalized versions. They are frankly not as good as the Mexican Reprint from 1969. They are better than the on-line version for accessability but not as good as the earlier reprint.
The originals are OUT OF REACH - only 500 were made.
The 1969 versions are usually about $100 when you can find one.
The new reprints run from $15 to about $30 but they are all the same quality generally.
I buy any new version I run into just to see how they look.

The 1969 reprints by the Mexican Numismatic Society are also scarce as only 500 were printed, and I have seen many with water damage and corroded staples, so a nice copy is quite rare.

For anyone interested in a Riddell forgery - a good friend Bill Hussey of Florida ( ebay Flacoin) has posted a nice example of the Riddell #365 for sale. This is the version with the eagle without the crest on his head. This is a forgery most likely made in France (or at least the dies were). http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...TRK:MEWAX:ITThis is an auction that ebay SHOULD NOT STOP. The Riddell counterfeits are all perfectly legal to own possess and sell under US law. There is no fraud because Bill has indicated the weight and "likely" nature of the origin. Too bad ebay makes us have to use less precise terminology but that is just how it is.
