Very cool Teddy Bear Doc !!!

I have not found any Gold this summer,, last year I had 4 gold finds,, My silver coin count is down also , but I have not been able to devote as much time this year ..

Very nice find and I hope you get more of the same !!!

I like it. I might have to investigate this metal detector thing. Sounds like fun. Out in the sunshine. Perhaps a quite ale or two. Throw on a barbie. Camping.

do any of you know where there would be a good place to Metal Detect in and around Calgary? Also, what kind/brand of metal detector should I be looking for?

Nice find !! :)

Pattie....try the beach if you live close to one...and old buildings. Check your library for very old maps of your area...and that's where you should go look with your metal detector...near old buildings.
