Hi guys. I have a $12 Silver Strike exactly like the one here:

http://www.worthpoint.com/worthoped...ike-dolphins

I have had this in an airtite for a while. It's just a tad "worn" but otherwise is in great shape.

I've been trying to find out what this would typically sell for, the composition, etc. My bet is that for a casino / gambling token collector it would go for more than melt, but I can't find any pricing info at all, and the only sites I've seen skip right over the $12 variety when mentioning composition

Any help or pointers on where to sell appreciated -- I'm not a gambling token collector at all.

Sorry for the lack of replies ... I submit this is not a lack of interest in trying to help you ... but rather a lack of information on a truly esoteric token.

Perhaps you can help by showing photos of both sides of your 'find' and some info as to how it came into your possession.

Yeah, I know it wasn't from lack of desire to help -- but because this thing is so hard to find info about.

You're not going to believe this, but my dad is a volunteer worker at the salvation army. They are not allowed to sell anything gambling-related per the policy of the salvation army.

So some guy donates this as part of a group of items, and my dad gets to keep it. Knowing I am a silver \ coin hound, he gives it to me!

And the link shows exactly what it looks like, but here is a better resource; look at the first token on the upper left:

Thanks, NS, whether you can help or not.

I found this on E Bay Silver strike. http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=Si...0.m270.l1313 or this http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=ca...3286.c0.m359 . The search was casino silver strike or silver strike. I tried the cruse line no luck. They seem to go for around 30$ in lower denomination. Tracy
