Well, well, well...HOW'S EVERYONE DOING?! I know it's been a LONG time since I've been in the forum, but thanks to Mr. Bobby's newletter that I got in the email box a little while ago, I decided to drop in and say hello!

I have to admit...the forum has come along very nicely! (Oh...psst...Dad, you might wanna check the table layouts for the navigation over there <--- They're a little off.) My wife and I are still into collecting and still are looking forward to obtaining some more beauties to add to the collection. Lately, we've been working on getting our home-based business off the ground and things have been going pretty well.

Since we're FINALLY getting things squared away from the hurricane last year, we decided to follow our instincts and passion for web design. With that said, we now have 4 web sites and are working on the 5th. One deals with advertising strange and unusual ebay auctions (NO! I'm not talking about those sick and utterly disgusting SGS ones ), two are for our web design business (with one being under construction at the moment), one is our crazy internet site (if it can be found on the net...it's probably there!) but it's still understruction as well. The last one, which we are working with a guy in Indiana who knows how to create databases, will be another one of those advertising websites to help new website owners generate "traffic". (It's not one of those MLM schemes...it's going to be authentic because we know how hard it is to get people interested in a website if they don't even know it exists!)

Anyways, let me speak a little bit about coins/currency in this thread so it doesn't violate any of the rules:

Since we've last been here, we've acquired some nice things...nothing too big and spectacular, but just some nice things. My wife found a great specimen of a 1928-G Series Two Dollar Red Seal that she couldn't pass up...the dealer only wanted $5 dollars for it!!!!!!! (I think he went a little cuckoo if you ask me! ) So, without a second thought...it's OURS! Then, about a week after, I went to the bank and got...get ready for this...a 1969-A Series $20 bill...no big deal, right? BUT THIS THING LOOKS LIKE IT HAD NEVER TOUCHED CIRCULATION...minus the three folds were it looks like someone folded it and placed in their book but forgot about it

Other then that...we're still kickin... before I forget...CONGRATS FRED!!!!!!!!!!

Well, that's about it! I'll be popping in and out to say hello and update everyone on our collection...has anyone heard from KidCollector? He used to talk to me all the time...and now I hardly see him
Rest in Peace

Welcome back, gitg! We missed you, but it's good to know you've recovered from the hurricane, more or less.

And thanks for the kudos. I'm still learning all the ins and outs of an online forum. All my moderator experience until now has been with email groups. It's a challenge and I'm finding I'm reading a LOT more forums than just my usual ebay, Coin Grading, Photography, and Main Coin forums (fora) .

You've already noted a lot of the changes, all for the better with CC including more major categories and, just as importantly a LOT more Smilies .

Anyway, gitg, don't be a stranger!
